Oscar Pistorius To Be Released From Prison

Remember Oscar Pistorius? The Olympic and Paralympic athlete that is jailed for killing his girlfriend, well he is to be released from prison to house arrest next Tuesday, a South African parole board has confirmed. He was sentenced to five years in prison for culpable homicide or manslaughter. He fired four 9mm shots through a locked bathroom door that killed his law graduate and model girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. He subsequently told the court that he thought she was an intruder.
